About
Case Construction Equipment, or shortly known as Case CE, is a well-known American manufacturer of construction machines and agricultural equipment. The roots of Case can be traced back to 1842 when Jerome Increase Case founded the J.I. Case Threshing Machine company. The company operated under this name for 66 years. Later it was J.I. Case Company or simply Case. In the late 19th century, Case was recognized as one of the biggest manufacturers of steam engines in America. Self propelled portable engines, steam tractors traction engines, harvesting equipment and threshing machines were also designed by Case. At the beginning of the 20th century, Case was the biggest producer of farm tractors in the world, but in 1950, the construction equipment became its primary focus. Case Construction developed and designed road making and construction equipment that was used all around the world for different construction projects, from streets, buildings to highways. In 1957, the world’s first integrated backhoe loader was produced and presented on the market by Case. Through the years, Case designed and produced many industry firsts, and today it is a construction leader with many innovations and solutions.

Products
Backhoe Loaders. Customers all around the world use the backhoe loaders from Case. Skid Steer Loaders. For applications in narrow and tight areas, the Case loader is the ideal machine. With uniquely designed cabins that include increased lap bar width and headroom, these machines offer more productivity, visibility and comfort for the operator. The skid steer Case loaders come with ergonomically designed controls and improved serviceability and reliability. You can choose between 9 models: SR 130, SR 175, SR 220, SR150, SV 185, SV 250, SR 200, SR250, SV300.
Compact Excavators. The compact excavators from Case offer exactly what every construction company needs: increased power, productivity and fast cycle times at the construction site. These compact machines are capable to perform a variety of tasks, including: utility works, demolition, landscaping, construction and industrial works. All compact excavators come with independent central swing boom which allows you to dig holes easily. The compact excavator line includes five models: CX 17B, CX 31B, CX 55BX, CX 27B, CX 36B.
MSR Excavators. The MSR excavators from Case are ideal machines for urban job sites thanks to their ability to work in tight and confined areas. These excavators come with Intelligent Hydraulic System that provides high fuel economy. With excellent control and lifting capability, the MSR excavators form Case can help you complete your work in no time. You can choose from: CX 75C SR, CX 145C SR, CX 235 SR and CX 80C MSR. Case also produce a range of heavy excavators for heavy jobs.
Wheel Loaders. A wheel loader with a Case logo can be seen on every construction site around the world. The Case wheel loaders deliver high horsepower and torque for excellent performance. These machines come with four power modes for completing the job in the most efficient way. With strong and durable hydraulics, the Case wheel loaders are ideal construction machines for every job. The wheel loader line includes seven models: 521F, 721F, 1021F, 621F, 821F, 1121F, 921F.

Interesting Facts and Events
- At the beginning, Case produced only threshing machines. These machines were capable of threshing 10 times more wheat then the traditional machines that were used at that time.
- In 1865, Old Abe becomes a mascot and a trademark of J.I. Case Company
- In 1869, Case introduced the first portable steam engine on the market. The original machine is still present at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.
- In 2008, Jerome I. Case was included in the Hall Of Fame by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
