About
In a world dominated by technology, Apple Inc. is one of the most famous and valuable US companies currently with a net worth over $1 trillion, that is over 1% of the world’s GDP and is even larger than some worldwide stock exchanges.
This huge story of success wasn’t so huge back in 1976 on April Fool’s day when it was founded by three friends, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne, in a garage in Los Altos, California.
Though the beginning was humble, it was thanks to their technological background, revolutionary ideas like the approach to simplicity as well as bringing computers to ordinary people that led to the success we know of today.
It took groundbreaking machines like the very first Apple I to get to products we know and love today like the versatile Macbook and Macbook accessories online stores and retailers provide. What was ingenious with Apple I as a desktop computer was the fact it came pre-assembled consisting of a single motherboard, unlike any PC at the time.
The following year was the year of Apple II that was more advanced than its predecessor in terms of case and keyboard plus additions like floppy disk drive, followed by Apple III in 1980 which suffered problems, both commercial and with the software and hardware, an event that shook Apple’s reputation.
It was four years later that one of Apple’s most successful products, the Macintosh, was introduced as the first PC equipped with a mouse and a built-in screen. It had many software programs, two of which were the MacPaint and MacWrite, as well as the same GUI (Graphical User Interface) operating system the small PC, known as Apple Lisa, had.
The first laptops of the company appeared at 1991, called the PowerBook, followed by other products we’re well familiar with, like the iPhone and iPad which appeared at 2007 and 2010 respectively.
Products
Mac
A brand of Macintosh laptop computers, MacBook emerged as a result of the combining of the PowerBook and iBook, moving on to a design covered in an aluminium construction that was introduced with MacBook Air since 2008.

Because of the simple design of MacBook, not having a USB Type-A port, there’s the need to use Macbook accessories online retailers abound in, such as physical adapters with ports for USB, HDMI, mDP and VGA. MacBook Pro is the option for those looking for a high-end laptop.
iPhone
Shaping the digital era as we know it, while at the same time paving the way for the smartphone, the iPhone as one of Apple’s base products has a history closely knit to the iPod which changed the way we listen to music.

Though the design of the iPhone was created to provide more functionality, it still had some of the most famous iPod features copied. It was a phone that had a touch screen and at the same time could be used for browsing through the web, sending emails and looking through maps.
Nowadays there are plenty of options such as iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max with an advanced iOS, a variety of apps, more battery life and quality camera.
iPad
The idea of the iPad was long in motion before it was first introduced, with a prototype being created back in 2004, and the Newton tablet-like PDA product a whole decade earlier in 1993 better known as the Newton Message Pad.
The first generation of iPad was Apple’s first in terms of using their own processor too, the A4. It was also the product which led to the iBooks, allowing people to have an alternative to reading books in physical form.

A more lightweight design with improved power consumption, the iPad 2 was another success along with the following iPad Mini, iPad Air and iPad Pro. Thanks to how useful they are, they’re great for design projects and educational purposes.
Music

Launching their first iPod in 2001, Apple changed the way we listen to music, allowing for up to 1000 songs to be stored, and also introducing iTunes later followed by Apple Music that even musicians use which makes quality music easily accessible.
Watch
Meant to be a fashion accessory, the Apple watch quickly proved to be much more than that as it allows users to track their fitness activities, connect to the internet, and even make calls and send texts.
