Elie Saab, often referred as “ES”, was born on July 4, 1964 in Beirut, Lebanon. Since an early age, Elie dreamed of achieving success and was focused on fashion because he noticed designer deficit in the country. Soon his sewing hobby turned into a profession. In 1982, when he was only 18, Elie Saab created his fashion brand “Elie Saab” in Beirut. At the time, his country was battling a long civil war and he was forced to cease his work more than once. Regardless of not having proper fashion education, Elie’s talent was enough to raise him to the top of fashion world which is why he is an honorary member of the Italian National Chamber of Fashion. His main office for creating high fashion is in Beirut but he often works in his ateliers located in Milan and Paris. In 1997, Elie Saab presented his first fashion collection outside Lebanon at Fashion Week Alta Moda in Rome and became the first non-Italian designer involved in this fashion event. The following year he began sewing clothes in Milan and while attending fashion show in Monaco, his designs were noticed by the Princess Stephanie. Elie Saab is truly a phoenix of fashion world; he started from scratch and has achieved noticeable fashion success. Today, Saab has showrooms in Paris, Milan and Beirut and offices in France and the USA. The designer lives in Beirut with his wife Claudine and their three children.

Elie Saab perfume – Elie Saab “Le Parfum” is one of the most successful perfumes of 2011. A year later he launched Elie Saab “Le Parfum Eau de Toilette”, a different version in the form of toilet water. This time, the creator of Elie Saab “Le Parfum Eau de Toilette”, Francis Kurkdjian, decided to focus on orange flowers. Elie Saab’s new fragrance is a very feminine and pleasant floral aroma, ideal for lovers of romance, elegance and tenderness. White floral notes used in its composition, have a special innocence and freshness. Top notes are tangerine flowers; heart notes are orange blossom, gardenia and base notes are vetiver, rose, copper.
