Snooza is an Australian owned manufacturer and supplier of premium, designer pet comfort products. Their story started 30 years ago and since then they’ve been manufacturing pet bedding and accessories that are all about comfort, style, luxury and durability.

The company utilizes materials that are better for our environment and minimize their products contributing to our ever-increasing landfill problem by ensuring that they last for as long as possible. How they do this? By making products that last as well as offering services that can prolong the life of their beds. The company has even created the Save-a-Bed Scheme to discourage their customers to throw away their unwanted Snoozas and instead, send them back to them. Snooza then repairs the old beds, refurbish them and donate them to any number of refuges and animal welfare organizations that they support.

Products

Since the beginning, Snooza has been developing new ways to create an unmatched comfortable and durable pet beds range. They invest heavily in research and collaborations to access the best and latest technologies in the pet bedding industry. The company’s first product was the”Snooza Original Dog Bed” created in 1989, which was followed by their iconic Pet Futon. But things really took off after Slugger & Titch, their two mini Dachshunds, arrived in 1994. They helped to inspire the company and laid the foundations and work ethos for what Snooza is today.

The Snooza Original Dog Bed was designed to withstand the hardest conditions. It’s made with a 25.4mm steel tube galvanised on both sides to prevent it from rusting from the inside out, the frame is welded at all contact points, and to finalize, a new durable jute cover is hand sewed on it. Raised approximately 20cm off the ground, the bed ensure air flows under rather than through your pet while the durable, flexible cover helps prevent pressure sores and relieve many hip complaints and arthritis.

The Snooza Pet Futon is very soft and comfortable. It contains an Australian wool blend that provides not only comfort but also breathability and temperature regulation, meaning it’s cool in summer and warm in winter. The Australian wool inner is blended with recycled plastic to ensure it’s a breeze to clean. When it comes to how to wash pet bed, the Snooza Pet Futon is machine washable and dry cleanable! Lightweight and portable, this bed is perfect for the car, weekends away or added to a raised bed for ultimate comfort. It’s also hypoallergenic, which makes it an excellent choice for dogs with skin issues.
